The courtyard or forecourt plaza is a premier outdoor venue. Landscaped gardens surround a plaza, which can be tented for weddings and special events on the weekend. The courtyard is equipped to accommodate temporary heating, additional lighting and audio-visual systems. It could be used for the start or end of a race, artisan market, weddings, and meetings.
We invite you to host your organization’s next event in a unique Canadian heritage building in the heart of Ottawa’s ceremonial district. The Golbal Centre for Pluralism offers a historic venue, excellent views of the Ottawa River and beautiful architectural details that can lend to memorable, photographically distinctive events. The [email protected] are a multi-faceted, innovative multipurpose venue, and a uniquely pluralistic space. The Global Centre for Pluralism’s beautiful, one-of-a-kind facilities at 330 Sussex Drive were originally built in 1905 to serve as the Dominion Archives of Canada, and later housed the Canadian War Museum. Beautifully appointed spaces of various sizes are available for executive meetings, seminars, panel discussions, workshops, exhibitions, receptions, banquets, remote meetings and more. This building’s central location on Sussex Drive offers easy access to hotels, the ByWard Market, the National Gallery and downtown Ottawa.
Services can include catering, furniture and linen rental and more. The courtyard has a theatre-style seating capacity of 250 guests and standing-only reception capacity of 400 guests.
